Morningstar’s Investment Site in Hong Kong has garnered the “Best Financial Information Website” at the IFPHK Financial Education Awards 2012. On the 20th September, 2012, Nick Cheung, Chief Executive Officer of Morningstar Asia, received the award on behalf of the company at the presentation ceremony. This is the first Financial Education Awards held by the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK). The Awards recognized financial institutions which have demonstrated superior performance in the arena of investor education, and aim to inspire financial enterprises to promote financial planning education in Hong Kong. Morningstar’s investment site in Hong Kong provides professional financial information, fund analysis and ratings as well as useful analytic tools that help investors to make better financial decisions. The accolade underscores Morningstar’s commitment to serve investors and we will continue our quest to push for higher level of investor education in Hong Kong.

In addition, since the Employee Choice Arrangement (ECA) of MPF investments will commence on November 1, 2012, Morningstar will launch MPF Centre to provide more insightful content for investors’ reference. As the implementation of ECA will give employees greater autonomy to choose MPF trustees and schemes, our MPF Centre will provide MPF fund data and performance analysis to help investors to choose right trustees and schemes.
